Privacy — Blockfall

Last updated: 7 September 2026

This policy covers the game Blockfall, published by Motema Interactive. For the website and the studio's other apps, see the general privacy policy.

This is a translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.

In short

  • Blockfall is a puzzle game: no account, no sign-up.
  • Your scores, statistics and preferences stay on your device.
  • Motema Interactive collects nothing for itself and has access to no individual data.
  • The only data leaving your device is what the Google AdMob ad network processes.
  • In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, ads only run after you have made your choice in the consent form.

What stays on your device

Blockfall works offline. The following is stored on your device only, is never sent to anyone, and we have no access to it:

  • your best score and local ranking;
  • your game statistics: games played, lines, play time, best level;
  • your preferences: theme, sound, vibration, sensitivity, music and volumes;
  • your progress in the daily challenge.

Uninstalling the game permanently deletes all of it. There is nothing you need to ask us for.

Advertising — Google AdMob

The game shows banners served by Google AdMob. The AdMob SDK collects and processes the data below. It is processed by Google, which acts as controller for ad delivery: we have no individual access to it and receive only aggregated statistics.

An advertising identifier and an IP address are personal data under the GDPR, even with no name or account attached. That is why this processing relies on your consent and why this policy sets it out in detail.

Your consent

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a consent form (Google UMP) appears on first launch. You can accept or decline personalised ads; if you decline, non-personalised ads are served and the game remains fully playable.

On iOS, the system additionally asks for tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency). Declining does not prevent you from playing.

You can revisit these choices at any time:

  • iOS — Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking;
  • Android — Settings › Google › Ads, where you can also delete or reset your advertising ID.

Transfers outside the European Union

Google LLC is established in the United States, which means data is transferred outside the European Union. That transfer relies on the mechanisms set out in Chapter V of the GDPR: Google is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, supplemented by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Retention periods

Retention period by category of data
DataPeriod
Scores, statistics, preferences, daily challenge On your device only, until you uninstall the game.
Advertising ID and associated data Kept by Google under its own policy. You can reset the identifier at any time from your device settings.
Data held by Motema Interactive None. We keep no data from the game.

Your rights

Under Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to processing, and to data portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time using the steps described above.

Where to send your request

Game data never leaves your device: uninstalling erases it, and we have nothing to hand over. For advertising data, the party to contact is Google, the only one holding it — via the links at the bottom of this page. Because the game requires no account, that data is tied only to a technical identifier: under Article 11 GDPR, we cannot link a request to a person unless you give us that identifier. Write to us anyway and we will point you in the right direction.

If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL or with the supervisory authority in your country of residence.

Children

Blockfall is not specifically directed at children under 13 and asks them for no information. If you hold parental responsibility and find that a child has sent us data, write to us and we will delete it.
